Real timber cladding in a bathroom or hallway means sanding, sealing, and watching for movement every time the humidity changes. This gives you the same warm oak grain in a waterproof PVC board that will not warp, split, or need refinishing.

At 10 mm these are the substantial boards in the range. The extra thickness gives a deeper shadow line at each joint, so a run of them reads as individual planks rather than a printed sheet — which is what makes wood effect convincing or not.

Fitting

Boards can be bonded directly to a flat wall with panel adhesive, or fixed to battens where the wall is uneven or where you want a service void behind. For ceilings, fixing to battens is recommended.
