Most split-system failures are installation failures. Moisture left in the lines destroys compressors. An unfound leak means the system loses its charge over a season. Both are avoidable, and avoiding them is most of what a proper installation is.

What the installation covers

• Pressure leak testing — testing the copper lines with high-pressure nitrogen to guarantee a perfectly sealed, leak-free system before any gas is introduced.
• System vacuuming — deep-vacuuming the lines to remove all internal moisture and air, protecting the compressor from early failure.
• Drainage flow check — thoroughly testing the condensation drain to ensure the unit clears water seamlessly with zero indoor drips.
• Pipework concealment — encasing all external pipes and wires in neat, weatherproof trunking so the outside of your property looks clean and tidy.
• F-Gas certification — providing the legally required compliance paperwork and logging the installation to fully secure your manufacturer warranty.

What we need from you

A suitable indoor wall position, an outdoor location for the condenser within a reasonable pipe run, a nearby power supply, and permission to carry out the work where you are a tenant or leaseholder. Listed buildings and some flats need freeholder or planning consent — tell us early and we will advise.

Booking and pricing

The price shown covers a standard single-room installation with a short pipe run. Longer runs, high-level access and multi-split systems are quoted separately. We confirm the final price before any work begins.
